@slowwalker, Yeah... Deawoongjeon be a most significant place for the temples as you explained that reason. Temples built up for worship to Buddha.The Deawoongjeon of the Boseoksa temple very simple and charm looks indeed. Your observation perfect because you've more experience about Korean Buddhism through visiting more ancient temples. There are so many Buddha statues inside of the Deawoongjeon. Golden Buddha statues very similar with other temples. Actually these paintings very different and I never seen like these arts in my country. Beautiful photo clicks again with well explanation.
