Wicked Clouds Quickly Roll In Unexpected.

The other day was just like any other day. The temp was hot and the sky was blue. The weather had called for a little rain and we wanted to go swimming so that we could cool off, we quickly got our bathing suits on to swim before the rain came. We noticed before we went out that it had become a little darker outside which meant the clouds were rolling in, we were running out of pool time! I hear my husband open the front door and yell for me to "come see this". 'This' was a wicked storm very quickly rolling in, despite the fact that only a very little bit of rain was to be expected.

"Isn't it strange?", he says to me. The pictures do the cloud no justice as to just how gnarly this thing looked in person. The wind had drastically picked up within a matter of minutes. The clouds looked as though they were coming in from two different directions. It had that really strange line break in it, this was something I had not seen like that before. The line went across the entire sky.

With the wind picking up like it did and the wicked clouds, we thought maybe some form of tornado was starting. I can't lie, it freaked me out. The wind was blowing everything around so we had to quickly grab all of the pool items we had just taken outside because the wind had started to blow them around. We grabbed any other light items that we were outside and put them up as well. This thing looked scary so I assumed the power would go out too. I went inside and put my phone on the charger since it was dying. However, with the wind blowing so fast, it did move the clouds very quickly too. We went inside as it grew a little darker. Luckily, the weather man was right. The wind had blown the dark clouds right over our house. We got a little bit of rain and the sky cleared up. We didn't have time to swim after that but we have been in the pool several times since then!
