What do you see behind a sculpture? #mygreatphotos
Rome and its incredible sculptures, anonymous to the majority ... how often do we stop to observe that work. Surely, someone or a team of sculptors have worked hours and hours so that today we pass by them and do not even see ..., or we just stop for a photo, do not?
But what about the artistic value of what we see, what is behind the represented figure?
Do you question these some time? imagine the artist making sketches and more sketches to imagine what his work will be ...
Would has he/her liked to do it? Would it have been just a commission?
How many time?
Will we be facing the representation of someone's feelings in addition to an artistic figure? surely...
what do you think?

HAVE A NICE DAY!
Thank you for reading and review!
I love those statues, and I really loved looking at them in person. You make some very good points here - I had not previously spent much time thinking about the artists. But now that I am not in front of them, and I see pictures, I just focus on the tiny penises. Lol. Am I the only one out there that does that?
Hahaha I must admit that I had not even noticed ... well it is very interesting where these reflections take us and as a group we can open our minds, right?
