Fly By Wire

Hey All

Just spent a little bit of time rolling around in the grass trying to get some cool macro images. I'll probably post some more very soon, but was so happy with the first one of these two that I just had to share it. This fly was just perched on a bit of electrical fence that surrounds our paddock. He posed nicely while i took this shot. Using the flash is awesome cos you expose for only the subject which leaves the background completely black giving awesome separation.

The next image, I did capture while rolling around in the grass. I was trying to get a shot of an ant in a dandelion but saw this little fella climbing a blade of grass. Love the simplicity of it.
