A veces en la vida salvaje uno cree que hay injusticia cuando vemos un animal cazando a otro, pero creo que es lo más equilibrado que existe en la vida, pues por muy feo que nos parezca, los animales solo matan para sobrevivir, mientras que otras especies "superiores" algunas veces matan solo por placer.

En esta serie de fotografias macro quiero mostrarles algo que me sorprendió cuando revelé las fotos en mi editor.

Sometimes in the wild we tend to believe that there is injustice when we see one animal hunting another, but I believe that this is the most balanced thing that exists in life, because as ugly as it may seem to us, animals only kill to survive, while other "superior" species sometimes kill only for pleasure.

In this series of macro photographs I want to show you something that surprised me when I developed the photos in my editor.

Mi intención fue tomarle fotos a una mariposa que vi muy tranquila posada sobre una flor, recuerdo que me extrañó que no se movía aun cuando acercaba el celular casi hasta tocarla. Lo que me parecía estupendo porque asi me dio oportunidad de fotografiarla varias veces.

My intention was to take pictures of a small butterfly that I saw very quietly resting on a flower, I remember that I was surprised that it did not move even when I approached the cell phone almost to touch it. Which I thought was great because it gave me the opportunity to photograph it several times.

Cuando llegué a casa descargue las fotos a mi computadora, entonces pude verlas con más detalle y realmente me sorprendió que mientras tomaba la foto no noté que la mariposa estaba atrapada por una araña. Lo que me hizo entender porque la pequeña mariposita nunca movió sus alas mientras yo la fotografiaba ¡Estaba muerta!😔

When I got home I downloaded the pictures to my computer, then I could see them in more detail and I was really surprised that while taking the picture I didn't notice that the butterfly was trapped by a spider. This made me understand why the little butterfly never moved its wings while I was taking the picture. It was dead!😔

Y ahora que veo la araña creo que me perdí de hacerle unas buenas tomas a ella, pero estaba tan camuflada que yo siempre creí que la mariposa estaba sobre una flor. La verdad es que era una linda arañita, solo pude fotografiar su espalda, pero creo que es suficiente para reconocerla.

And now that I see the spider I think I missed out on getting some good shots of it, but it was so camouflaged that I always thought the butterfly was on a flower. The truth is that it was a cute little spider, I could only photograph its back, but I think that's enough to recognize it.

Creo que en esta foto se puede apreciar mejor, si se fijan la flor que esta al lado de la araña se dan cuenta que es idéntica a ella, en color y hasta los pelitos blancos que tiene.

I think that in this picture you can appreciate it better, if you look at the flower that is next to the spider you realize that it is identical to it, in color and even the little white hairs that it has.

I hope I find the little spider in my way again to get better shots!
