BEFORE MAN:

This image reminds me of a story long forgotten by time and not known to wisdom, in a period where only THE ONE existed, a period where all were dead except He who is absolute and eternal. If anyone was alive at this time, all they would see was water as far as the eye can see and a throne as huge as eternity itself with the ONE AND ONLY KING seated upon it gazing into the distance with the demeanor of a transcendent being without an equal in the worlds, pear-less for all time, with an aura that would make all living creatures prostrate in submission to his absolute rule.

Perhaps days, months, years, or even eternity passed before the creation of the pen and the book (A book that Allah calls by many names such as Al-Louh Al-Mahfuds, Kithabin Mubeen, PRESERVED Mubeen, that is, THE PRESERVED PRESERVED AND PROTECTED TABLET, THE CLEAR BOOK) inaccessible to all save He THE ABSOLUTE RULER who commanded the pen to write as it inquired “Oh my lord! What should I write” Then Allah replied, “Write the decree of everything that will happen until the establishment of the hour and write that my mercy triumphs over my wrath.” Only Allah knew that it would be Fifty thousand years, of which the length of one day from it would be equivalent to one thousand mortal years, before the creation of the heavens and the earth, an abode for men and jinn.

Many generations after creating the free-willed of jinn from smokeless fire and their reign upon the earth which lead to the ascension of Iblis (satan) from among them to the ranks of the angels, The Supreme Being created Adam from wet clay and blew into him a soul which entered from his head going down to his eyes which opened to gaze upon angels as far as the ice could see of different sizes with the least count of wings being two and a span of which could cover the whole sky of the mortal realm. Sliding down to his nose and mouth caused him to cough as it was said to him "Your Lord's mercy is upon you." he then realized the boundless knowledge he possessed in his mind as he recognized the names of all things his Lord had permitted.

Upon the soul reaching the stomach a wave of desire struck man as he lusted for food and started seeking it, then it was said "Verily man has been created in haste." After the complete merger of the body and soul came the fulfillment of the command of Allah as all the Angels immediately prostrated to Adam except Iblis who had become among the disbelieving jinn out of his arrogance.
