You probably have some free PAL waiting for you in there. Once you sign in, if you do, it will be a blue button on the upper left corner of your wallet page.

Palnet is is not another Steem frontend, it has it's own token PAL that is running parallel to Steem. It's basically an SMT. They're not called that officially, but that's basically what it is, a token launched on top of Steem.

When you either post using the palnet site or just using the #palnet tag on any frontend, you will be eligible to earn PAL rewards as well as Steem rewards. They'll go in your Steem Engine wallet, but you can also see them on the palnet frontend. Also posting on the Panet frontend also posts on Steem frontends.
