At 18, I may have not experienced all the things a 40 year old have gone through.
At 18, I may not have reached the places that most of the fortunate people have placed foot on.
And at 18, I may not have felt all the pain every broken souls have suffered.

But at 18, I have known I grew up in a cruel world.
At 18, I have experienced enough to know this world needed much more than being just strong.
And At 18, I have witnessed enough to know that I can't survive this world.

Now at 18 I wish to go back to the simpler times.
Where everything was much better.
Where everything was much peaceful.
Where all I cared was how much time I get to play.
How many candies I can eat.
How many hours I need to sleep.
I wish I can go back to these simpler times.

But the only direction I can go now is forward.
Leave the past behind but learn from it.
The past can let us feel things but we can never bring it back.
