New York City street art

New York City is filled with amazing street art. It is the home to many of the most legendary graffiti artist ever to live. Some of these amazing Street artists include Bondi, lady Tink, Zephyr, Julio 204, stay high 149, phase II. This work appeared on trains that would move through the city and appear as if the words were alive animated by the movement of the train as it crossed over Bridges outside on the street.

New York City street art has been moving hand-in-hand with the hip-hop culture and within the hip-hop culture there are three elements the MC, the dance, and the art. Eventually street art moved into the mainstream and became hard. People such as Jean Basquiat and Keith Haring bridge the street to the museum. Today's street art is all over the world in the form of graffiti and is a major part of youth culture.
