Pic of the day : Machhyaa Narayan Temple, Nepal
Machhyaa Narayan temple is a small temple located in Chhaling, Bhaktapur Nepal. This temple is especially visited by local people and some people from other locality. During the famous Makar mela, this place is quite crowded with people to take a dip in the pond. It is believed that taking a dip in the pond washes alway all the sins.
On the periphery, there is also a temple of Lord Shiva. The temple is situated in a secular place along with a small stream.
Although Makar mela is widely celebrated in Panauti, Kavre District, it is believed that the pond is one of the representation of Triveni Ghat.
During this Dashain vacation, along with my sisters I visited this place. The visit was quite fun and we had so many pictures taken.
