Old Architecture In Slovenian Mountains

in #photography7 years ago

Today I want to present you some new shots from Slovenia. Here is a couple of photos which I took on our hiking in Slovenian mountains many years ago.

This is a cottage where is the entry point to the Triglav National Park. You can reach it by car. From here on the hiking begins on different trails and directions.

After more than an hour we came to mountain pastures with cows and old small stables.

Some of them were in bad shape, other renovated.

But these stables are more to preserve the tradition.

This one is my favorite.

Isn't Slovenia absolutely amazing?!!... we visited several times and were also struck by their architecture...even their new buildings are all in keeping with the original so as to give a certain uniformity to the entire country...we loved it...

Haven't thought of Slovenia as a place to visit before, but maybe i should reconsider!

i hope to visit it someday they say it is photographers heaven Slovenia and Finland too

Thank you. This photo shared this photo is very nice. This is an awesome photo, and you're really a good photographer.

Slovenia, a country in Central Europe, is known for its mountains, ski resorts and lakes. On Lake Bled, a glacial lake fed by hot springs, the town of Bled contains a church-topped islet and a cliffside medieval castle. In Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital, baroque facades mix with the 20th-century architecture of native Jože Plečnik, whose iconic Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) spans the tightly curving Ljubljanica River.
