I have been there many times and it is like another world! California culture is too in a good way!
I have only one friend in CA and they seem really chill!!!
I find that sunshine makes people happy!
It must have some positive effects for sure... I'm from somewheres where it's gloomy most of the year, but I'm in a better area now...
They got the cowboy name before 55% of the population became a snowflake.. nice pics 👍👍
Once they start calling them "Cattle People", then eff it, I'm moving to some island somewheres lolz...
With all that open space and western theme environment, I'd be disappointed is a shoot out didn't happen...

I love the hidden sun behind the rocks :) They look amazing and very similar to the ones in Cappadocia - Turkey. Looks like a nice place to visit :)
Bring extra water though, right? I remember your Cappadocia photos, I think I liked those better :)

I will have to dig my old photos out. I use to live where Death Valley and the Mojave Desert meet up. It is beautiful to visit but I hated living out there in the middle of no where. I love trees and having 4 seasons.
Nice! I'm sure you have an incredible collection if you lived right in the epicenter of the desert :)
Not as many as I would have now if I lived there now as back then I didn't have cell phone cameras and such.
It seems peaceful there if only not too hot. It is just amazing how time itself shaped it through the natural wear and tear of nature.
