THE FOG - PART 1

in #photography6 years ago

What a dreary, spooky day...

Well, not really, but the photos may look that way. After a slight downpour earlier, a lot of the area became covered in a thick fog. I tried to seize the moment and take some photos, focusing on how different everything looked. I sought out various fence lines, trees, and silhouettes, and even angled the camera slightly just to throw things off a little more.

As usual, there were quite a few photos that I really liked, so I've broken this photo shoot up into multiple posts to help keep things "digestible." Enjoy!

Great shots, I love to try and get nice pictures of our fog too, when its here. :D
I really like the ones with the cattle, but that last one with the trees is my favorite, I'm not really sure why, it just spoke to me I guess. :D LOL. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D

Yeah, they are each so similar, and so different. There's more to come! Thanks @frostyamber!

I look forward to seeing the next batch. :D You're most welcome my friend! :D

Brother I kid you not this was the same for me on Christmas eve coming home from work. I left at 11pm for my journey home and once I had joined the parkway, this is a road that connects sheffield and Rotherham together, I couldn't see any more that 4 feet in front of the car.
I played the safety game, I phoned my wife and she stayed on the phone with me(hands free of course) the whole journey.
The funny thing about it she told me that it wasn't foggy where she was, as I got to catcliffe the fog just disappeared and it was like a curtain had been pulled away.
stay safe @papa-pepper.

Wow, it did get pretty thick in a few places, but was clear where we live. Glad to hear that you are safe!

@papa-pepper Thank you for your kind words.

I have a question for you, when ordering food from a fast food place what would you order and why? even if you don't order now what would you say would be your number one product to buy on a menu?

Personally I was always a sucker for Gyros. Also, salad wraps with grilled chicken breast are another favorite. Like a simple Chicken Caesar Wrap. I love them and make them when I can. Thanks for asking for input, and I wish you success in your endeavor.

@papa-pepper, I am a big lover of the caesar wrap, I have to have bacon with mine to give it an extra salty taste to it, but my oh my they are so nice.

How do you like your gyros? on a spit or slow cooked? I am also a big fan of this, over here it is so expensive so people tend to go for the doner kebab which looks and tastes rank.

My Mum said the same about the salad wraps, she was telling me more and more people are buying them at work than ever before, and they are going down a storm. maybe it is something I should work on and maybe try and develop something else to add to the wrap world.

thanks for replying dude :D

A couple of weeks ago and this is no joke it was foggy for 3 days. Never seen the fog last so long, but it was sure nice to see the sun again!!!

Wow, that would be peculiar.

Fog is rather cool, somehow on christmas morning, the fog lifted except the bit that happened to get into my log cabin, it was rather spooky looking
