I have an uncle who has a property in Goolwa, we've sat at the beach near the Murray River entrance and watched the aurora there... absolutely freezing there at night!

Yeah the bush can get chilly at night time, goolwa is a nice spot. Sometimes I ride my motorbike down there :)
