Impending Doom

When Wife and I first ascended into the White Mountains of New Hampshire, we had a first hand view of the dramatic weather that they are famous for.

As we summited Mt. Moosilauke, we encountered a dark, roiling bank of clouds tumbling along above the barren mountain peaks. A good part of the mountain was above the tree line, so we hurried along, enjoying the view and hoping the rain would hold off till we made camp.

Dudee those are some sweet clouds!

The last one tastes like ice cream! But great shots man. Did you make the rock pile?

No. People other than me did and they made lots more too.
