“Can Blockchain Be Applied to the Photo Industry?”

This is the question that all those in the photo industry are currently asking. Blockchain technology is perfectly suited to decentralized management of photographs — including ownership, rights management and usage.

Thanks to Photochain, and others working in this space, the industry is excited about the unique potential of blockchain technology on the photo industry. Photochain are recognized as one of the chief innovators in the industry, so we are delighted to have been invited to speak at CEPIC, on Wednesday 30th May.

CEPIC (Centre of the Picture Industry) is the largest world congress for commercial images, where industry leaders, experts, agencies, photographers, service providers and many more come together annually, in one place to discuss the industry as a whole.

The industry has much appreciation for Photochain’s outstanding technology and have invited us to come and take part in a panel discussing all things blockchain and photography.

Alongside Photochain’s CEO Stanislav, other members of the panel include Marcus Schmitt, CEO of Copytrack (our esteemed partner), and CEO’s of KodakCoin and WeMark. So we expect a fascinating and engaging discussion.

We are very excited to get on stage with other recognized blockchain-for-photography innovators and can’t wait! We will share with you all our feedback and our success post event.
