[New Zealand Photography]~ Finding Random Gems In The Archive! (Climbing Mountains)

"Mt. Doom"

"Tongariro Crossing"

This was by far one of the hardest hikes I've ever done. The Tongariro crossing spans 19km and covers a wide range of terrains. I took this picture at a mid point in the hike. Covered in sweat and and trying to refrain from going towards the light, I spotted my friend staring at this massive active volcano. It made me feel so small on this earth. Not in a bad way, but in the way of marvel. Humans are small compared to existence and each of us as an individual need to climb mountains to leave a mark. It's true when they say "you need to work hard to get to the good stuff".

Happy Veterans Day and thank you to those who have served.
All of the pictures I post are my original and creative works. I do not post others photos without a proper reference. My photos are shot with a Canon 5d Mark III 24-105mm lens. I also shoot with my iPhone 8plus. I like to try to show my creative side on this platform so please enjoy the pics and leave a comment.
