I AM TIRED ENOUGH THAT MY OWN PHOTOGRAPHS AND FLOWERS ARE GIVING ME WELL DESERVED ENERGY LIFT!

in #photography6 years ago
It has been a hectic week with many medical appointments for my wife. Thus far we are getting positive news on her improvement. Still waiting on a mammogram and a bone scan. My wife had cancer around 17 years ago, and the doctor wants to make sure it has not come back or spread to the bone marrow. We see the specialist again on February 2nd, so it is still close to two weeks.

Then to top things off I got a call from my renter's roommate ( have a small modular home on land that is very rural) and was informed that my renter passed away. I was quite shocked to say the least. She was only 41 years old. Her roommate is concerned I would ask him to leave, but I reassured him to just deal with his current issues and we would talk in a couple of weeks. My renter had been renting for 10 years or more. I am hoping the roommate will just take over the rental.

In between all of this I have a lot of things I am behind on, and some have deadlines. Yikes!

Let us find some photographs to cheer things up a little. I found a photo of a rose that the photograph had not been used yet. I think that is a nice cheerful starting point.

Just in case someone was missing my winter I will share a recent photograph. It has warmed up and we have had both snow and rain. Today we have rain. This view I always enjoyable to see:

I found a photograph of another woodworking project I did a couple of years ago. I made stack-able produce crates for the vegetables I grow. This year I even have a couple of crates of apples stored. I am looking forward to getting back into my shop...it is good for my mental health as is my indoor gardening. This was probably taken with my PowerShot Canon camera.

I know I have shared photographs of daisies and Calendula, but I did not have these two coded, so I do not think I have used these particular photographs. No matter what they are cheerful to me and when I spotted them they cheered me up a little:

That brings us to a close for the week. As always I hope everyone find at least one photograph that "touches" them. I will be adding more photos of my adventure at indoor gardening. Everything is growing fast, and I am getting plenty to eat. I am seeing I will need to build more shelving. There is more room that I can push the room divider back and gain more space. First I have to clean out the back area, where I store my herbs, and herbal concoctions I make. Once that is done I will be able to build a growing setup. I am hoping our weather continues to be mostly mild because then I can start heating my smallest greenhouse and shift some of my growing out there.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for all of these photographs, except where noted.

Upvotes and resteem are always welcome. In the event anyone wants to use one of my photos please ask and give me credit.

Upvotes and resteem are always welcome. In the event anyone wants to use one of my photos please ask and give me credit. I overused my power that last two days so I am letting my power rebuild before I reply to comments and upvote them. The same goes for posts I have reviewed.

REMEMBER SPAM AND PLAGIARISM WILL LEAD TO MUTING. I added this last week because I had to mute someone for plagiarism. Please do not use what someone else has left as a comment. I do not like flagging people, but I have a long list of those that have been muted. I get a lot of comments and try to upvote them all, and it is not fair to those who left a comment or even a photo to use their words, nor is it fair to the Steemit platform. People work hard here so use your own words please.

@r2cornell There are so many moments in life that people keep captives in the mind through the camera. And the camera captures the wonderful moments that are called photography. If the mind does not match with the picture, then it is never perfect photography.

Feel free to say that your photography is awesome!
