I've used the D750 for a little more 3 years and it's been great. I bought it for its low light capability and even though the D810 had a better ergonomics and a faster shutter speed, the D750 still kills it at the events I work. If you have a chance maybe you can rent one and show what you could do / want to do when you own it. Good luck.
