I would say flag a persons account for a day so nobody could see their stuff to scare them but that's just too mean!

Yeah. They are, but he only makes a few a day. So I hope he reads the replies and can understand it. If not someone will flag him.
In the big scheme of things a few comments by one person isn't really something to flag IMO unless they just don't or don't listen to feed back. On the larger scale it's ugly and a mess. At some point when I find time (ha!) I'd like to do reports and follow up on those we comment on and see if it helps.
