Just a pic of a glacier that I made in Alaska
It had been raining for 2 or 3 hours before I approached the glacier so everything is pretty much wet. When you get closer to a glacier, you realize it's more blue rather than simple white. Some thin glacial rivers descending from the icefiled can also be seen.

Harding Icefield is called after a US president Warren Harding and is the largest icefield in the US.

Yes. Alaska is anyway cold in September (most hotels and facilities close mid-September), but rain makes it muuuuuuch colder.
