Will Bitcoin Pop the Dollar Bubble? - Macro & High Speed Flash Photography 📷

All bubble images taken with a Sony A7RM2 with a 90mm by @runrudy

I have been noticing more and more articles about Bitcoin's threat against the banking industry. Today, I read that many shops in Akihabara (Japan's electronic marketplace) are now accepting bitcoin.

Articles like this, makes me feel that this crypto space seems to be moving faster and faster to mainstream adoption.

Now, photographing a bubble burst is tedious, trial and error work. You need exact precision and timing in your technique to capture this phenomenon.

Yet, nobody can precisely predict when a bubble will pop. I feel that there is no better forum to appreciate this photoart than those in the crypto-currency community.

Nobody has a crystal ball and nobody can't predict what exactly the future holds.

I am just happy to keep slowly accumulating btc/steem/alt coins as an early adopter.

Let me know what you guys think?

Have a safe weekend everyone.

All the altenative money can potentially pop the dollar bubble. I try to be as diversified as possible, as uncertain what will happen when the bubble pop

Yes, I very much agree. I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist. : ) I stacked gold and silver before learning about bitcoin. We also store canned foods, dry goods, water and trade able goods (coffee) in our house. I also try to invest in myself being educated and self sufficient in a time of a disaster. The possible monetary gain to a dollar crash would be exponential for gold/crypto. Yet, I honestly don't want a dollar crash. I am pretty happy with life the way it is especially with a new baby. If a crash were to happen, the people would go crazy here in California. There are no systems in place for an event like that to help regular people. It would turn into chaos, looting and violence. My wife and I said, if anything ever did happen we would leave for her parents house in Nebraska and live on her father's farm for a while. : )

haha, me too :)

I even have more, solar panels, cigarettes, honey, big water tank for rain water plus filter, fruit trees and vegetables in garden.
Yes US cities will turn into chaos, like after Hurricane Katrina.
I am in New Zealand, there are more sheeps and cows than people here, so it would be not too bad like California during a collapse, it's more like your parents in law's house in Nebraska. But i like to be prepared just in case

very sound advice @djohan. cigarettes and honey. I'll have to put that on the list. : )

i buy some cigarettes when i go overseas. Honey can be stored for a long time, so to have something else other than canned fish :)

Very interesting series. Yes, it seems as though crypto currances are on the way to changing many things. Precious baby. Up voted.

Thanks. I believe in crypto also but what a ridiculous day on the markets. Buy the dips! : ) Thanks @team101

Great bubble shots! Very apt. The thing I love about Steem is that I can invest and diversify without feeling the pressure and worry I get by using my salary. Maybe that's not a good way to approach the use of Steem, but that's how I've been doing it.

I think it is a good way to approach it. I saw a video speculating that if the big banks finally jump in, btc can go upwards to $500k range. It is like the wild wild west so just a little investment in btc/crypto can become something life changing. who knows but it is good to have some of it just in case. see ya.

I couldn't agree more. New Amidakuji is up, btw.

Love the bubble shots and the baby timelapse idea! Following and looking forward to more!

Thank you @roytc123! Have a great weekend!

beautiful pictures! and I love the 'run with rudy' artwork. you will post the timelapse of the baby at her birthday?

Yes, if I can finish! I will post a timelapse. It is getting harder and harder to post on a daily with the baby. Thanks @binksmom!

Whoa, I love those bubble shots - well done!

Thanks @runaway-psyche! They are a pain in the butt to capture but they come out pretty neat. I appreciate the feedback.

Hi Rudy! I have bitcoin and ether and I believe it is the wave of the future, in Mexico even in small towns you can use bitcoin and its a third world country so I definitely think it's going up, I love what you did with your pictures theyre really cool😀 Enjoy your weekend my friend
