A Maine whale watch
I've been out to sea only once. These photos were taken 25 miles from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. I can't say that we saw any magnificent whale leaps, but we got to see a couple of them, along with a shark, and some dolphins.
But I was really stunned by the vast emptiness around us. And when the captain would turn of the engine, I started feeling a bit claustrophobic. When you can't see anything on the horizon, you get a sense that you are in a small room. I really recommend this kind of an adventure. The experience is priceless!
Whales are beautiful animals. I once managed to see a big whale with her baby. However, the best animals in sea for me are Dolphins.
