Hello beautiful It’s a joy to hear from you. Oh my @lyndsaybowes, seeing you in this dress always makes me smile, so cute 😉 yes we do swim in the river, the water is cooler than the ocean and always crystal clear, the local children really love it and luckily in this area we do not have crocodiles as they do further up the coast! It is easy to get lost in the jungle in some parts so people mostly take guides with them. It’s so dangerous with snakes if you go off the beaten path so sticking to trodden paths keeps one alive and well 😉I hope you are having a blissful weekend indulging in your personal preference of relaxation techniques 😘, and good vibes all around. I have to ask, what's the general location in Costa Rica? It almost looks like the Amazon.
It is southern Costa Rica in the lushest, wetest, jungle area... the north of Costa Rica is drier and more desert like by comparison.
If I had to guess you're somewhere near Parque Nacional Piedras Blancas? Lots of people make the mistake and flying into Liberia expecting rainforest. I agree with you. It's almost desert. You can see the vast difference.
Yes well as you have probably realized I don’t feel like giving my exact location and we agree south is lush and north is desert. But I could go to many places to find desert, for me the joy of this country is wet humid rainforest brimming over with diversity of life and the least number of humans spoiling it.
