Wood has a lot of uses and is a renewable material even when deforested sustainably. The most severe use of wood is in buildings constructed in the form of wood beams for the construction of houses, commercial buildings and furniture. This is one reason why wood has also been included among the materials for construction of the internal structure of buildings as the sites for cabins, sections of house floors and elements of ornamental decor.

Apart from becoming a structural component, wood allows the manufacture of many pieces of furniture, such as a table, chairs, and beds, offering endurance and coziness. Moreover, wood serves other industries in the manufacture of paper and boards where it’s also useful in the packaging and printing activities.

Also, wood is used in other artistic works and crafts, being a material for artists and amateurs for making sculptures, carving and creating musical tools. It is also good as thermal insulator which helps in making energy efficient house. Finally, wood is a green material as it can be recycled when it’s available.
