ITAP Murmurations are magical.
It was a very lucky shot. I was sprinting down to the pier to try and get the last of the light. In my mind I'd planned to take some shots fully face on to the pier/perpendicular to the sea. As I was getting near the spot I'd planned, I saw the little boy playing and thought ok, maybe I've got time to wait for the right combo with him looking up and the murmuration in its more visible phase. I don't always have that presence of mind, so a nice reminder to myself to be flexible.
