Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I went to sleep just under the usual late hour last night, this happened because of feeling unwell, actually mostly just a sore throat, feeling very cold and run down because of it. Falling asleep like the previous night was a bit of a problem, which surprised me due to being so tired and cold but I don't know why I couldn't fall asleep perhaps the sore throat. The weather this morning changed to being bright, but was very cloudy, so I'm not sure how we even had any sun but I guess it wasn't much, it was cold temperature wise from the get go. The heating as been on more often and for longer meaning I'm just seeing money burning itself away. I only woke-up 5 minutes to my scheduled alarm, this was strange but it's better than waking up 1 or 2 hours prior which as been happening on and off. I have been resting a lot past the alarm lately, this is likely because of the cold, a seasonal issue I guess. This morning was not a struggle to get out of bed, sure I rested a little longer but soon after I got on with the day. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. Well most chores would have to wait until later because I had less time than usual, because today I had to get some Christmas presents to my friends. So I started with getting a few of the basic and the quicker chores out of the way first, before moving on to preparing the last of the presents. I really don't want to be running around Christmas eve delivering presents like I did one year as it was horribly cold. I thought I had a little more time but was rushed as some friends were going to a family Christmas pre-dinner. With my free time up I went for a quick breakfast, got my bag packed and ready, changed and left the house. Like I expected it was very cold out, I was sure glad I had my gloves with me as they made a big difference. I had a really good time visiting friends perhaps everybody was in a merry mood as we are so close to the big day. Like this I was able to leave earlier, it was nice to see some of the nice decorated houses along the way, thankfully it also wasn't so cold strangely. Returning home I was able to get on with the rest of the chores for the day and get a shower in. I also made sure to have a hot drink to get warmed up and hopefully not let this sore throat turn into a full flu for Christmas. I went online to check with friends and was surprised to see some were online and how busy they had been, so we spent most of the time just organising things. I want to try and get one of those small work-outs done but had no chance of that if I wanted to get the rest needed. After I went for dinner, I didn't check-in with my father as it was already too late, and lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. While not in the direction we all wanted I'm glad Steem is moving away from the dreaded "middle" value. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. But I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. Regardless I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional. If you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Today's Picture

As for the picture I share today it's a surprise treat from work, the superiors brought a few sweet treats for everybody, some cupcakes a few others bits and a cake. This winter snowman cake was for celebrating good work around the Christmas period. It was a really big delicious creamy Christmas cake the only down side was it was brought so close to Christmas giving us little chance to eat it as we are so busy at the time. Regardless I made sure to take a few quiet moments to enjoy this delicious cake featuring a nicely made snowman made using cream, chocolate, marzipan, sweets and likely something else.
