Photography or a image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be an art-form. The beauty and meaning of photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways including "by not using any words".

While I do like photography I used to share images when I could that I captured day to day events, the feedback was mostly positive and I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos.

Almost every picture as a story to tell, or at least that is what I have often been told by some of my regular followers when I first started sharing photos on here.
To those who have often said and expressed that to me I would have to agree with them.

Today 14/12/2022 I share this capture.

Due to my father down visiting us I probably won't be around that much, so expect perhaps on some day's to have a post missing and delays on winners.

The weather this morning was brighter this time with the sun being more present helping melt away that snow.
But just because the sun was out both me and my father knew it would still be freezing outside, still I think it appears to look much brighter out because of all the beautiful snow outside.

I was wondering if it would snow again at some point during my fathers visit but according to the forecast there will be no more snow during he's visit but it will continue to get colder which I did warn him about.
But it's said that next week it will get much colder so he is lucky to escape while he can.

I was giving myself extra time in the morning as I had a horrible nights sleep previously.
I had to relocate to the spare bedroom and basically I don't always do well with a different bed, not only that but some of the cat's who I get on with best couldn't believe their luck that I was going to sleep in a room that they often use to get away from the other cats or humans for that matter.

So I had 3 cat's disturbing me for most of the night, there was also the heating which for some reason was on much higher then usual, it was honestly too hot to sleep.

I woke-up feeling very drained as felt like that for most of the day I also went out later in the evening which was even colder but not the best idea when your not feeling that great but I had some things I had to get done quickly for my father.

But last night l slept much better I think the cat's were just initially happy to see me the first night but after that they didn't bother me so much.
And so last night I was able to get much better sleep but I still feel a little drained today and as I expected feeling slightly like I'm getting a cold.

And so it didn't surprise me too much when my father told me this morning that he was not feeling that great, which kind of sucks because we had to cancel everything for the day.
Still other family members went out to investigate some information my father needed for various things and passed the information on to him best they could.

And so like this I was really glad I didn't have work again today, instead I had breakfast with my father this morning.

And later I decided to organise a late lunch with friends as they really wanted to see me.
It felt a bit wrong as my father is not down here for long but he as also been more quiet than usual I thought if I was not around he might also rest more and get better quicker for us to continue on with the original plans.

Of course going out and about with all this snow was a bit of a adventure, it's started melting and so poses much more of a risk, actually one of my friends fell to the ground as we walked luckily he was not hurt or at least so he says.

After lunch I went back to my father I didn't plan to stay out for too long just to surprise a friend, eat and get back.
We stayed out a little longer that I wanted but only by like 30 minutes.
I'm feeling more and more like I got a cold coming as my throat get's slightly worse.

Anyway as for the picture today I share one that I thought was kind of weird, it was July the hot weather had just begun and as I browsed one shop I found a very out of season display. This shop at the end of July thought it would be a good idea to start trying to sell of the smaller thin Christmas Trees. Perhaps these were old stock they were trying to move before getting the new stuff in but from what I remember 3 weeks later when I visited again they were gone. Mind you there was only 2 trees there to sell and I don't believe they were even that expensive to bother with the display but perhaps I'm wrong and it's helped their business. I know shops like to start early when it comes to Christmas but I found July to be a bit ridiculous.
