Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

I didn't expect my father to turn up here to visit me so soon after I had just visited him and this caused a few issues to get posts out but in the end I don't think any days were missed. It's because when my father is down here visiting he can require a lot of attention. But at least with him returning home I have caught up on sleep, it's a big improvement but I still feel tired and could do with a little more rest. Like last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour as I deciding to get rid of Shatterhand. The previous night there was a interesting article that claims the online dating scene is causing economic trouble, larger wealth caps between people. Falling asleep was not a problem because our unexpected cat guest had already left. The weather this morning a least didn't feature any thick fog but like I expected it returned to being dark, cloudy and miserable looking, it was also raining😠. Thankfully it's not cold and I really hope it clears up a bit later because it's my friends big birthday and we suppose to be spending time out. I woke-up again 1 hour before my alarm, it looks like this is still happening but still it's a improvement over waking up 2 hours prior to my alarm. I rested until it was time to get started for the day, well I went past that again by a lot. Then I remembered the horrifying truth that I will be doing some very early shifts again in a few days argh😠. Late start again I didn't have work to be in for today which means this was a good opportunity to get a few chores done. But actually this was very limited because I had to prepare to meet with friends for their big birthday. I also wanted to try again for some more Steem as it's been a little while since I have been able to do this because of travelling and then being visited by my father. But I'm unfortunately dealing with the same crap from before I went travelling, which is the sellers not respecting your time or even you as a customer, I want to try again tomorrow if possible. Also I was shocked yesterday to see that without warning my TRX wallet on Steemit just disappeared, a long with all the funds I had in there. I learnt later that the TRX distribution code has been removed from the wallet by the Steemit developers. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from the rewards "which I'm glad was fixed" but I think removing the TRX wallet from the SteemitWallet is a downscaling move towards the value of the SteemitWallet as a whole. After panicking for a bit I assumed that perhaps the only way to recover the funds is to make a new tron account with TronLink and then if possible adding the Steem generated TRX account to that account? This already seems confirmed by others but regardless I still think we should keep the TRX wallet functional, well I guess this is not the type of post for such a a long discussion on that topic. I took a little longer getting ready to meet with friends but at least like this I caught the good weather meaning none of the gifts got ruined. The plan was to go and enjoy one of the all you can eat world foods buffet but before that a lot of shopping was done which thankfully didn't involve me spending anything. After the shopping spree we finally went for food as I was very hungry, we spent most of the time in there until I realised we was running out of time to get to the birthday cake shop. We were all putting money in to buy my friend a good quality big cake. In the end a not so big cake was picked which was a little disappointing but I guess saved us all money. We honestly just about made it to the shop the woman was closing it up and we was super lucky she agreed to let us in. A made a deal out of picking such a disappointing cake the whole way back home. But when I saw the cake properly and we all took some home with us I knew I was going to regret it as it looked very delicious. When I got home I tried some of the cake and will unfortunately be apologizing to my friends tomorrow that it was infact a fantastic choice of cake. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the topic of flower imagery.

This was captured on a day after I had just finished work, also I had already been home got changed and left again to meet with a friend at my closest green spot. There are some small hills in the area and this was near the top somewhere, it's here where these flowers were growing and from the looks of things they are growing by a lot getting so tall. As you can see by the photo they continue to get taller further down to a point they look like they are climbing a wall due to the hill elevation. I'm not sure if these particular flowers are just shaped like this or if they are still little baby buds that open up at some point. If that's the case I believe I don't have any photo of them open, all the ones I have seen all look the same. Normally you would be able to at least find some at the different stage, either growing, closed or opening. But these were the only ones I saw all at the same stage even further down the taller ones all still looked the same. This time we have gone for a good close look at what these little buds actually look like, however I have gone with the black and white option which I'm really pleased with the results. Going for a close-up with the black and white I think also exposes the odd shaped long like leaf's that seem to accompany this flower.

Perhaps these flowers only open at night to let their scent fill the air, I doubt that it was still too cold for them as it was a warm day.
