Wandering around

Hello

Day 15
When I'm in the city, I tell myself that I don't need nature as much as I think I do, and after few days I forget that once I was enjoying wandering in nature. I get busy with day to day life, work, friends. Then when I go in nature again (usually this village) I tell myself "can we do this every day?"

I don't know what happens if I start living in a village and get lost in nature every day, but I think it will slowly becomes the new boring routine after a while.

I'm not the type who finds himself wandering around, I aim for wandering, sometimes I can't even do that, I have to aim for a special hill and go for it. I can't live without a goal, no matter how meaningless it is.

Anyway, today, about 2 hours before sunset, I left the house toward the hills. Close to our house, I found these piles of tree trunks. Nice to look at but sad to think of. A graveyard for all the trees that used to cast shadow for us. I continued my walk and got far from the village. Reached this rock and found it suitable to sit on and write. I had my notebook with me but not much to write.

I don't know why I like this notebook so much. I had few lines in my mind to write when walking. As it wasn't much, soon I started walking again.

After walking for about 10 minutes, I reached this area. I'm not new to this kind of landscape, I've been around this hills so many times, but still this view was new and very amazing to me. I didn't had my camera with me, so I couldn't take a good photo of the valley. Where I stood while taking the above photo, the village was still visible behind me but in side that valley, it felt much safer and far away from humans.

It was so peaceful, so quiet, you could here your own mind, my inner voice. That kind of peace that we all need time to time, even if we don't know it. The feeling is not something I can convey through photos and words, if you haven't experienced it already, you won't get it now, either.

Alongside all the peacefulness and quiet, the rock were interesting too. I liked the shape so I took a [not so good] photo. Then I tried to imagine its history by looking at it.

All photos are taken by me, except noted.
