Hello Steemians.

So today i finally was able to make my first Photography post.

ISO 100 ---- f/13 ---- 1/60 sec | Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM

So a week ago i was on a yearly road trip with some of my childhood friends. A tradition we have kept going for almost 9 years now. I’m so glad that after all these years, we still have the same friendship, as we did 9 years ago. Normally we are a group of 15 people. But this year only 6 of us. were able to participate. A lot of these 15 people i’ve known most my life. And the last people i met around 9 years ago. We formed a friendship i would not trade for anything.

One day we were out hiking. I was really looking forward to this, as this was one of the days i could put my camera to use. We had a 1.5hour car ride, ahead of us. And the weather started very good, with no clouds. I did know that later the clouds will take over. And i was thankful for that. I love the clouds when i’m out hunting for landscape photos. They take a bit of the bright light from the sun. And gives the sky shapes.

As we were walking along the water, i found this composition you see above, and though it was worth taking a shot. When i look at this photo i feel relaxed. I'm not sure why, but i think it’s because the water is so calm. i think i took around 7 photos at this composition, i wanted this to be great, and i think it turned out well enough, that i wanted to share it with you guys.

On our way to the top. I took a few more photos, but none of them really came out with a great result. So i didn't wanted to include them in this post, maybe some other time. Anyway, when we arrived at the top of the hill, i was blown away with this beautiful view. I didn't really have a good composition at this location, so i had to get on top of small wooden cabin to get this photo.

I think we stayed at this place for like an hour. Just to enjoy the view. i’m glad we didn’t stayed any longer, because almost right after we got back to our cars, we got a shit load of rain. and it didn't stop, until 2-3 hours later.

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did feel free to follow me, comment or upvote. Anything is appreciated. Also i would love to hear some feedback from you guys. I'm trying to read and respond to every comment i get. I know i’m not the best Photographer, but i hope to become better each time i shoot photos. And happy to learn new things.

Take care everyone
