Shots from a frozen River
The river is frozen here. Many people were enjoying the sunny yet cold day. There were people skying, walking and riding snowsledges on the river. Me and my friend were the only ones using bicycles :P
There river was covered with different tracks that all were a nuisance to ride along. The most smooth ride was always on the clear snow.
At one point I stopped and did a snow angel. :D
There was a ship on the side of the river, dragged on the bank, awaiting spring.
Ducks were still present on the one small part where the river was still open. It's quite amazing how these birds can survive the cold temperatures. It's been between -15C~-20C for the past 2 weeks every night.
This bush looked cool. It reminded me of a hedgehog :D
Time for Ice sculptures. I broke some riverice from the shore where the water had already dropped, so the ice remained over dry land :P
Time to head back.
Evening comes too quickly.
