Meet with old Dhaka.

in #photography5 years ago

We know that Nawab Sirajuddaula was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. No one has seen the person I am now. 😅

I practice the old days of the Nawab, traveling solo freely in the Aligalee city of Dhaka. This habit had long been asleep. Today, suddenly I was left alone to find time for the traditions and culture of old Dhaka.

First started the journey from Gulistan. Sadarghat I rush to tug on the horse car.

Before Sadarghat, beside Bangla Bazar, there is a famous "beauty boarding" at the famous habitation. Then on the east side of Sadarghat there is Lalkuthi and Rupalal House. Bibi Ka Roja towards Shampur a little further.

Seeing these, I set foot west of Sadarghat. I walked around the branch market. I saw ceramic brass cases filled with Bengali millennial traditions. Meanwhile there are old houses with many unknown names I was amazed and wondered how this Dhaka city was during the British period. I saw the old Kali temple and Islampur police. Then forward to Ahsan Manzil. The tour is over. But I have to walk further. I continued to go to Babubazar along the riverbank road.

Huge large fruit tree. I left behind the native foreign fruit of the various barn in the Shaista Khan Mosque. I turned around the small mosque and found my way home. It took me about 5 hours to do this whole journey. And the whole walk on foot. Rickshaw can also be sitting for hours upon hours even if it is difficult to jam with a car in old Dhaka.

It is better to give the Creator two legs. Alhamdulillah saw a lot and knew a lot. These were the tourist spots on the eastern side of Dhaka. Another day I will go west.

Don't waste garbage in the sightseeing area. We have a moral responsibility to keep the surroundings clean
