Wednesday Walk and Snorkelling on The Coromandel Peninsula-North Island New Zealand
Hey everyone!
Today I want to share a Wednesday walk day out walking and snorkelling along the Coromandel Peninsula on New Zealand’s North Island.
These beaches are so nice to walk for many kilometres - quiet and stunningly beautiful scenery all around!
It was such an awesome experience and in the water I saw a lot of great sea creatures, big fish and what would have to be the BIGGEST crayfish I have ever seen!!!
They are called Packhorse Crayfish ( called Packies locally ) and can weigh up to 15kg! The one I saw was nearly a metre long! Just Incredible! They are the largest of the lobster family in the world!
The water wasn’t too cold so I spent a good long time exploring the waters along the beach.
A truly beautiful nature experience! I am making so many memories here in New Zealand and it’s great to be able to share them here.
Stay tuned for even more wonders to come 😜
Until the next time - Peace and Love to you all! ❤️🙏
