Krishna River, Vijayawada, India

Krishna River is one of the biggest and important rivers of India. I took this picture from the bank of River near Vijayawada bus stand. Vijaywada is one of the big cities at Andhra Pradesh India, and also have one of the largest bus and railway stations of India. Its a good place to visit.

Vijayawada is known for the ornate Kanaka Durga Temple, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. The Undavalli Caves feature ancient rock-cut temples, adorned with elaborate statues, carved out of a sandstone hillside. The massive Prakasam Barrage stretches across the Krishna River. Nearby is Bhavani Island, with forests and waterfront gardens.
