Let me wander in your garden...And the seeds of love I'll sow
A brief Journey into Fairytale Land
It's always such a pleasant surprise to walk into someones backyard for the first time and finding an absolutely Gorgeous site greeting you. Sometimes flowers, ponds, fish, birds, art...ya never know, but so many things just pop for you.
Well, these are shots of a backyard up here in St. Louis that I was absolutely enamored by! What I found rare about this was that it was the elegant simplicity that struck me. I felt like I was in a fairy tale, waiting for a fairy god-mother to arrive or a rabbit hole to fall down (maybe even a red pill.)
On top of this, the Led Zeppelin song Houses of the Holy played in a loop through my head the entire time!!
Now, normally I shrink my images to make them easier to load, especially for people on phones. But this time..I just couldn't do that. I want you guys to get the full experience this place!
I changed the scale of the browser window from 100% to 300% for these amazaing photos. Thank you for diving in to the magic garden!
yeah scaling browser is the best thing, at 300% the posts become 90% images :) welcome to busy.org on steemit.com
More than happy to share! This was too cool (imo) not to. I'm glad you enjoyed them! :)
This made me literally laugh out loud! :P

Oooh really...able to get any pictures? Love to see what you uncle's got hiding in the backyard. :)
I can do it the next time I'll be there. :)
Beautiful! Thank you @sykochica for sharing this Sacred Space with us. What a perfect spot for meditation :) Love it!
Oh, definitely! It screams serenity. :)
Looks like a wonderful property! having paths that lead you somewhere, and creating little backyard 'rooms', it's intoxicating!
If I was a kid I'd totally be finding little nooks and crannies to hide out in. Lol
Cool garden :)
Thank you!
It was sooo serene back there...making it so easy to just fade out into chill, happy thoughts. :)
If you add some music and a nice person with you ............just perfect !
That's nice. They spent some time/effort designing that garden.
Oh yea..I can only imaging all the work that went into that place. I so wish I could've spend some days there.
The song, "one in a million you" comes to my mind when I see the beauty and peacefulness that you have captured with your photos. As I have said before. When we find ourselves going back to look two, three, or more times.
It is a good sign you have a winner.
Thank you
Francis
Fantastic place! You're lucky to be there.
