Kagami Mochi 鏡餅

"Kagami Mochi" is a traditional Japanese offering made of rice cake for New Year's.

Normally, mandarin orange is put on top, but various kinds are sold these days.

What my wife bought is the kind of boar dolls on top.

The boar is the japanese zodiac of this year.
