Geometry of NaturesteemCreated with Sketch.

The world around us sees so chaotic, complex and beyond the grasp of science, but as far as today's knowledge reaches, the whole universe is following a self-similar code that repeats itself at every scale.

Mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern displayed, so-called, a fractal geometry. The word fractal was coined by Benoit Mandelbrot, a polish / french / american mathematician who explained how the things that are considered to be rough and complex in nature, actually have a strong degree of order.

Basic geometrical shapes are just the beginning of a long story that lead to an understanding of structure in all living things, like bricks of more complex organisms, but always keeping in mind the properties of the environment and conservation of energy.

Massive thank you, @phototalent!

Very nice photos!!

They really bring out the amazing chaotic order of life!

Thank you for kind words, @steemstreems!
Noticing that order you can really feel how everything calms down. Weird stuff.
Although I decided not to add to the post, I'm going to upload a cabbage-galaxy gif: it fits the comments and is funny. :D
Hope you will enjoy!

Nice one. Nature is simply profoundly amazing!

Beautiful pictures, all of them but I have stuck on the second one.
What on earth is that?

Hahaha... :D Thanks for stopping by, @fotostef. That creepy thing is lotus flower seed pad on it's very young days. It gets brown and dry, turns the head down into water so the seeds can easily falls off. During this green stage, the seeds are well protected from birds. Yep, nature is really amazing. :)

Oh! Now I got it! Your shot is inside the flower! Just amazing!
Thank you for letting me know, now I can go to bed :)

Photos give us insight into natural order and your essay helps to explain what you see, and why you are able to help us see. When I look at your pictures it makes me want to go out and capture a piece of the world, hold it still, as you do.
