My Tree This Year

This is an old log that would not fit into my woodstove

The shells came from Long Beach Island

I walked along the shore there in the winter with my sister a few years ago

It was just us as the amusement part sat cold and stark in the wind

Shells everywhere no one to pick them

The lights were given to me by a friend

The santa on the top, was made by the seniors at a center where I play music for them

The tree is 3 feet high, takes no time to set up and feels natural.

It cost me about 5 dallers total.
