Consonno: the ghost town (abandoned place ITA-ENG)

Eccomi finalmente a parlare di Consonno, dopo tanti anni che prometto al mio amico di Lecco di andarlo a trovare per esplorare insieme la città fantasma, questa volta ho concretizzato i pensieri e ho organizzato un breve weekend con il mio fidanzato.
Appena arrivati abbiamo lasciato la macchina al di la della sbarra proseguendo poi a piedi per un bel pezzo, così troviamo le strutture e gli edifici pieni di barriere e degli operai che tagliavano l'erba, quindi presi dallo sconforto abbiamo pensato subito che non si potesse più entrare. Ma noi non ci siamo dati per vinti, anche perchè abbiamo fatto tutta quella strada per poi arrenderci così?? non credo proprio. Continuando a camminare e circumnavigando la strada abbiamo trovato finalmente un'entrata, grazie a questa scalinata (terza foto).
Poco prima della scala ci sono già dei disegni lungo il muro di creature mostruose.

Here I am finally talking about Consonno, after so many years that I promise my friend from Lecco to visit him to explore the ghost town together, this time I put my thoughts into practice and organized a short weekend with my boyfriend.
As soon as we arrived we left the car on the other side of the bar and then continued on foot for a long time, so we find the structures and buildings full of barriers and workers who cut the grass, so taken by despair we immediately thought that we could not more to enter. But we did not give up, also because we did all that way and then give up like this ?? I do not think so. Continuing to walk and circumnavigating the road we finally found an entrance, thanks to this staircase (third photo).
Just before the stairs there are already drawings along the wall of monstrous creatures.

Prima di arrivare all'edificio più importante, passiamo dalla vecchia sala da ballo con un grande dehor e il chiosco. Poi vediamo anche attraverso delle barriere l'hotel abbandonato da fuori, anche se mi sono pentita di non essere entrata a fare un'esplorazione più approfondita, perchè vedendo il bellissimo video di @stefenne l'ho reputato molto affascinante ma macabro allo stesso tempo :)

Before arriving at the most important building, we pass by the old ballroom with a large outdoor area and a kiosk. Then we also see through the barriers the hotel abandoned from the outside, although I regretted not having entered to do a more thorough exploration, because seeing the beautiful video of @stefenne I considered it very fascinating but macabre at the same time: )

Il degrado e l'abbandono di questo posto è dovuto a una frana molto importante che avvenne nel 1976, la strada non si poteva più percorrere e fu così che la "Città dei balocchi" si trasformò col tempo nella "Città fantasma". Purtroppo la gente ne ha approfittato e ci ha fatto di tutto, rave party compresi, bruciando alcuni punti e imbrattando i muri con disegni tutti colorati, anche se alcuni lo ammetto sono delle vere e proprie opere d'arte. Col tempo è diventato anche pericolante, quindi non credo sia proprio legale entrarci.. non seguite il mio esempio..

The degradation and abandonment of this place is due to a very important landslide that occurred in 1976, the road could no longer be covered and it was thus that the "City of toys" became over time in the "Ghost Town". Unfortunately, people took advantage of it and did everything, including rave parties, burning up some spots and smearing the walls with colorful designs, although some admit them are real works of art. Over time it has also become unsafe, so I don't think it's legal to enter it .. don't follow my example ..

L'edificio principale era un centro commerciale su due piani, con un corridoio lungo e tante stanze molto simili tra loro che una volta erano i negozi. Tutto quello che so viene direttamente dal racconto del mio amico, il quale si ricorda addirittura di quando era bambino, quindi mi ha fatto ancora più effetto essere li con lui sapendo che lui ha vissuto il prima e il dopo!! Essere li in quel momento mi ha fatto provare strane emozioni, un misto di malinconia per il degrado che c'è ma allo stesso tempo ero anche affascinata.

The main building was a two-story shopping center, with a long corridor and many rooms very similar to each other that were once the shops. All I know comes directly from the story of my friend, who even remembers when he was a child, so it made me even more effective to be there with him knowing that he lived before and after !! Being there at that moment made me feel strange emotions, a mixture of melancholy due to the degradation that exists but at the same time I was also fascinated.

Salendo l'ultimo piano verso la cupola, che credo sia il simbolo dell'edificio, vediamo un panorama mozzafiato sulle montagne.
Mentre andiamo via scopro che un pò nascosto esite anche un altro spazio dove c'è questo vecchissimo e spettacolare camioncino, ma che figo che è :)

Climbing the top floor towards the dome, which I believe is the symbol of the building, we see a breathtaking view of the mountains.
As we go away I discover that a little hidden also exists another space where there is this very old and spectacular pickup truck, but what cool is it :)
