Cicada leaving its shell (Video)

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Thought I might post this video I made nearly 4 years ago, when I was 14.

My 4 year old brother ran into my room, wide-eyed and smiling and told me "there are cicadas everywhere!"

Then yeah, we went outside and tried to be David Attenborough with my iPhone 4.

The music is by a German composer called Ludovico Einaudi

They are a very strange, alien-like creature as you can see.

They live underground for 7 years while they grow before digging themselves out, hatching and living for about a week while they find a mate.

Hope this was interesting

wow, very beautiful video! did you make it by yourself? i love the song, here is where my upvote goes to. is divenire no?

if you want more votes, maybe it is better to make an interesting introduction post under the #introduceyouself category. and not to write upvote at the end of the posts :)) people are voting if they like what they read, not because you ask them nicely :)

good luck! :)

I'll take your suggestions thanks! :)

and yeah it is Divenire

Cool post @tomee. I've never seen that before.
