Types of Camera for Dummies

A brief introduction on different types of Cameras.
Three major categories:
a) Compact (also called Point and Shoot) Camera.

This is the Cheapest model available with slim body and easy to handle features. It can be carried in the smallest pocket and very useful for travelers to record moments. Outdoor photos come very well and indoors with in-built flash gives optimum results.

b) DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflector) Camera.

These are fairly advanced camera which comes with an option of interchangeable lenses as per the users functionality. The basic models are suitable for beginners and the cost is affordable due to use of plastic/fiber cases, however the professional camera bodies are built for rugged usage with metal alloys.
The final results vary according to the use of different lenses appropriately.

c) Mirrorless Camera

Mirrorless cameras are hugely popular in recent times. Thanks to the fact that they keep the big sensors and interchangeable lenses of DSLR cameras, but ditch the internal mirror mechanism, allowing camera manufacturers to bring slim, light, with advanced feature-rich cameras.
