The Travel Archive Part 1 - Testing Waters.

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone, for a long time our family has been travelling. Each of us alone or together. Some of us have written a few books, but we come from a country, where writing books does not get you anywhere. I am now in possession of an a great archive that still growns. Hundreds of stories, close to 200,000 pictures. I'm uploading some of the pictures and if I will see appreciation I will write down the stories and I will upload more.

We do not travel from hotel to hotel, we are not backpackers either, some of as have yileded entirely new species of annimals. Some saved people's life. I'm willing to write from one account, but I will collect the stories and photos from the travel archive.

Looks absolutely stunning. I am following you.

so... how did you end up with an inca skull in your hand ?

I was with my father travelling through Bolivia. One professor a friend of my father's had given as a contact for a guy name Jerry. Jerry was as he had called himself an amauter archeologist, among others, so he had brought us to an old cementary. The body you can see on the subsequent picture was hidden in old lava bubble, they have used those bubbles instead of graves. And how did it end up in my hand? Well Jerry simply took it and said hold it, but do not joke with it... :)

I am following. Hope for new stories.

Thanks!

Hello @patrice, sorry I did not know that. I honestly thought that as my first post I will use this tag, but I will edit it out. Thanks for your imput, I will try to improve it If I post a next one.

You're welcome. You can use up to five tags, and they don't have to be the current popular ones. I'd recommend adding #travel #writing #story #inca.

Relevant tags help readers find content they are interested in even if they are not popular. Welcome!

in fact, you might wait a while until you have more people following you - that would be my recommendation. Looking forward to more of your images and stories. Getting traction here can take some time, so don't fret - do it because you enjoy sharing.
