Provence (South France) Travel : A beautiful fragrance town that was the background of novels and movies, Grasse - #1 Perfume museums
Grasse is a town in southern France, where lived Jean-Baptiste Grenouille who the main character of Patrick Suskind's novel, ‘Perfume’. It was famous as a city of perfume even in the background of novels in the 1700s, and it is said that it still supplies 70% of the perfume extract around the world.

There is a place that produced world-class perfumers. So Channel No.5 and Christian Dior's Jador also originated in Grasse. Here you will find some of France's most famous perfume branded museums and a small town where you can find ingredients for perfume production, perfume essence production, perfume manufacturing and sales. I like good fragrance and perfumes. So when I was preparing to travel to South France, Grasse was one of those places I wanted to go to.
The symbol of provence is an endless lavender field, but at that time, all of the lavender was harvested. So sad…. !(◎_◎;) But the place always has a different charm for that time. So I forgot about the regret and left happy memories.
