The night the moon was big

Tonight I felt lazy. It was that day of the month. I was preparing my favourite hot milk cocoa and I was preparing to watch Seinfeld the 1264th time.Weather outside is pretty good these days, in spite of january being almoat over but you know, when Santa Claus is in town a girl can’t even move a bone.Everything aching.Articulations squeequing.

My milk was almost boiling when my phone rang.I was lucky that the phone rang and woke me up from the spell of Seinfeld. While I left the milk to heat up I made the mistake to press play on an episode of Seinfeld. You know the one: Kramer gets a painting of himself. I always forget about everything when I watch Seinfeld and this time was no different.

I rushed to the phone that I left in the kitchen, hitting my son on the hallway.
Numb asllep he woke up to the ringing of the phone:
"Answer the damn phone woman!"
While getting in the kitchen I saw the milk spilling over and I barelly managed to take it off the fire while spilling half of it on the phone that wouldn't stop ringing.It was @vonaurolacu.
"Comme on...get your gear and let's shoot the moon girl!"
"What moon? What gear? What and who and where?!
"Biggest moon of the year...come on, get your pants on, I'm downstairs."
"I reallt don't feel like it!"
"I really don't care if you feel like it! Take the fucking tele also!"
"I sold the tele you handicap!"
I did sell the tele 2 months ago. I thought it was a piece of shit anyway. I never found it useful but it seems that for this kind of shots, would've come handy.

So I took my Nikon D 750 and my sigma 35mm f1,4 art and I went downstairs.
The moon was just hitting the best moment of the evening.

"Why the fuck did you call me now?" I asked while entering the car.
"Some people have jobs!"

After roaming for a few streets and realising there was no point to shoot the moon whitout a tele we decided to hit the highway and have some overexposures there, with the moon in the backround. Good thing I was not alone, as in many other nights I like to take long drives and search for good photo setups.

After a few houls of the stray dogs around the highway we managed to take these middle of the dark shots. Good thing the highway was crowded enough so the result was ok. I didn’t get out of the house right innthe worst time of the month, for nothing.As we were coming back in town we stopped for some take away grilled when this came between my eyes.
