Neoxian City Photo Challenge Week 6: Autumn

My entry for Week 6 of the Neoxian City Photo Challenge. This week's theme is autumn.

Autumn, for me, is more than just a time for leaves changing colours. After the stiffling heat of summer it's a time to begin being outside again; it's a time for the nutty aroma of nuts and seeds falling to the ground, of leaves crunching underfoot, and crisp, cool mornings with a hot coffee. It's also time for pumpkins, baking, pies, cookies, and soups. Not to mention candy!

Thanks! And, alright, I'll bite; what's the TULIP game? :)

It's a trading game; buy and sell the tokens based on the fund's price and against other players. All posts at @Busbecq.

Those colors are breathtaking my friend.
I am more one for stews and one pot cooking in the colder times.
Good luck in the challenge!

Thank you kindly!

Thank you very much!

Indeed, stews are terrific too, and I absolutely love them too. We used to use a slow cooker until it needed to be replaced, and haven't tried a stew in the new 'instant pot' yet. That will need to be soon. 'tis the season!

Great stuff indeed in the instant pot my friend. Carrots, potatoes, beans, leeks, and whatever with some soft lamb knuckles, garlic and chilly in a thick beef broth is just my thing!
Time to get your instant pot going methinks.
Blessings!

Wow! So beautiful shot. Love the colorful environment.

Thank you! I love autumn for just that reason.

Thank you! I love the colours too. Always so invigorating.

From a country that doesn't have autumn, I never knew that this season meant so much for people on the other side of the Earth...is this called appreciating the moment? :)

And that's a beautiful shot, all the autumn colours...

I think 'appreciating the moment' is a great term. :) Thank you for the compliment!

It's a really fun time of the year. In the summer everything is so... green... all the time, and in the autumn it begins to cool down, comfortable to the skin, and the trees look so beautiful all the time. It really brings out the magic of the world to me and takes me right back to being a child again.

That is a stunning photo, @wwwiebe! What a wonderful walking area.

Thank you @jayna! This is a county park not far from me that also has an archaeological site and a museum on it, not to mention a full 18 hole frisbee golf course! (I am awful at frisbee golf). Thanks for stopping by!
