Bunga teratai atau sering juga disebut sebagai bunga lotus, dan juga sering disebut sebagai bunga keabadian.
bunga tersebut merupakan bunga yang sangat indah dan sering kita jumpai dirawa atau di sungai.

Bunga yang satu ini tergolong unik, karena jarang kita temui sebagai tanaman hias. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kita tahu cara cara menanam dan merawatnya. Bunga yang tumbuh di media yanh berlumpur dan berair ini mungkin saja tidak efisien bila kita tanam di dalam pot.

Bunga teratai memiliki nama latin nymphaea dari keluarga Nymphaeaceae

Biasanya jenis tumbuhan yanh tumbuh di air memiliki lapisan lilin padan daunnya, namun ternyata daun teratai tidak demikian. Sehingga saat air mengenai daun teratai tidak akan membentuk butiran-butiran air.

Bunga teratai memiliki banyak jenis, yaitu ada sekitar 5 jenis teratai yang tersebar di seluruh dunia. Jenis yang saya posting kali ini adalah Nymphaea alba atau bunga teratai putih
