DTube #6: Why do things have COLOUR?
Colour, in itself, enhances objects all around us. With colour, surreal landscapes can be observed and impeccable art can be admired, to say the least. It is easy to define the colour of an object by saying it is either dark red or light green, but is it as easy to explain why we see colour? With the use of Physics, why do things have colour?

The colour of an object is down to its physical properties. Dependant on the wavelength of radiation hitting the object, it will react differently. Objects can react to light in many different ways. Watch the video, in full, to find out exactly how objects react to light to allow us to see colour.
