The Piano learning Project part 4
Once again, I'm on a mission to learn how to play the piano. This is the fourth recording, I won't bother you with twinkle twinkle:)
Au Clair de Lune (french folk song)
Time for learning: nearly 5 hours, that hand position switch was a real challange
Time for musicality: dedicated an hour to making it smooth
Challenges: Maxwell suggests switching fingers for a legato effect when notes are repeated under a 'slur'. In cello, you merely pause, or even just slow down, your bow. With the piano, to make a new tone, you have to lift the key, but you don't have to lift it so much. In the end, I did not agree with Maxwell, it sounded nicer to use just one finger and not lift all the way.
Regrets: none!
