CONTEST: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words - 10/22/2021

Katerina felt joyful not only because she drank a shot of Bourbon but from some strange anticipation of something unusual and pleasant. She walked along the park with the hint of a smile on her lips – all anticipation.

And, as it turned out, it was not in vain.

Suddenly, to the left of her, high above the trees, she saw a flying sleigh, pulled by six rain dears. Actually, she saw only the bottom of the sleigh. Thus she didn’t see who sat in it, but she guessed.
“Hey, Santa!” she waved her hand just in case, not putting much hope into it.

To her surprise, the red face and a long white beard came out from the left side of the sleigh.
“Hey, Katerina!” screamed Santa, “Merry Christmas!”

Katerina saw him dropping something from the sky.

She ran toward the place and saw a package. Opening it, she found a pretty warm shawl she had dreamed of buying for a while.

“Thank you, Santa!” she screamed and waved to him back. But Santa already didn’t see or hear that. She continued walking with a big happy smile was on her face.
